Is it the attempt at chivalry that can make it awkward to walk through a door sometimes—or—Is it the fact that the majority of our social skills have dissolved? This chivalry is considered gender neutral, where many can view simply holding a door as something from muscle memory. Whereas others have assumed the doors will always be opened for them.
